If you have Microsoft Office, or Office 365, you may have OneNote installed on your computer. Word is the blue W, Excel is the green X, and OneNote is the purple N.
OneNote enables me to create the equivalent of notebooks, section tabs, and pages. Each page can have text, images, screen clippings, audio, etc. I store my OneNote data on OneDrive in the cloud so I can access it from any of my computers. You can have team notebooks for sharing and collaborating as well as your personal files.
The search box is the main benefit of using OneNote as it searches across all documents. An example is when I learn how to access the Michigan Treasury Online, I take notes, screen clippings, and save it all as a page easily found with the search.
Give OneNote a try! The longer you use it, the more powerful your searchable repository of data becomes.
